I realized that even though I am a full-time student I do not post much about school outfits. Although, 99% of the outfits I wear are for school, I always like to overdress. 

On this post, I just wanted to show you a quick and comfy look to go to school. Since I am always stuck with pastels, I mixed them with off-white and the cutest snake print sandals. Of course, a backpack is the final touch and I like one that can be fancy too, like this one.

Me di cuenta que aunque soy estudiante a tiempo completo, muy poco posteo acerca de looks para la universidad. Aunque el 99% de lo que uso es para la uni, siempre me gusta vestirme un poco más allá de lo típico.

En este post solo quería mostrarles un look rápido y cómodo para ir a clase. Como siempre estoy enamorada de los pasteles, los mezclé con un poco de blanco y las sandalias más lindas con estampado de serpiente. Por supuesto, el bolso da el toque final y me gusta uno que sea más formal, como este.

The Work to Play Dress by soulofafashionista with strap sandals

I was very excited to be reached by ModStylist Amy from Modcloth for the Uniquely You campaign. I love doing story boards, part of my school projects have a lot to do with them and it's something I would love to keep doing throughout my career.

As soon as I saw this Work to Play Dress all I could think of was vintage and feminine. I love mint mixed with navy that't why I also added the mint bag, but gave some gold and neutral touches with the sandals and jewels.

I would say this look is very Taylor Swift, very comfy but at the same time very cute and ladylike.

Me emocionó mucho que la ModStylist Amy de ModCloth me contactara para la Uniquely You campaign. Me encanta crear carteleras de inspiración, parte de mis proyectos en la universidad es eso y es algo que me encantaría seguir haciendo durante mi carrera.

Apenas vi este Work to Play Dress solo pude pensar en vintage y feminismo. Me encanta el menta mezclado con este azul navy por eso agregué el bolso también menta pero agregué unos toques dorados y neutros con las sandalias y las joyas.

Me parece muy Taylor Swift este look, súper cómodo y a la vez lindo y muy ladylike.

When Miami gets chilly I try to take advantage of that as much as I can. Although it was more crazy wind than chilly, I took the dust out of my booties and my blazer.
This skirt is just too pretty, I love when A-line dresses and skirts have pockets, to me that is like perfection and I love how comfortable it can be.

Cuando Miami se pone un poco frío trato de aprovecharlo lo más que pueda. Aunque en realidad fue más viento que frío, le saqué el polvo a mis botas y blazer.

What I love about going to school, specially because is also a fashion school is that I can be overdressed sometimes and it would not matter. When I used to go to college in Venezuela I honestly grab the first thing from my closet and go out like that. I used to wear a lot of jeans and cardigans, since I moved I have taken every opportunity I have to dress up. What motivates me is the different culture I guess, in Miami people don't really follow a trend or care too much about what to wear because of how hot it is. I ignore that and try to have fun with my closet, as long as I am comfortable and I feel confident when I leave my house.

This dress is super cute, I got a while ago and forgot I had it, so I decided to wear it with a blazer and heels and it turned out very office/business women, which I love. I don't mind looking a little older sometimes, but just sometimes.

Lo que me encanta de ir a la universidad, especialmente porque es de moda, es que puedo vestirme elegante a veces y no importa. Cuando iba a la universidad en Venezuela honestamente me ponia lo primero que encontraba, usaba muchos jeans y cardigans. Desde que me mudé aprovecho cualquier oportunidad que tenga para vestirme lo mejor que pueda. Lo que me motiva es la diferencia de cultura, supongo. En Miami la gente no esta tan pendiente de que usar por lo caluroso que es, yo decido ignorar eso y me divierto con mi closet, siempre que me sienta cómoda y segura al salir de casa.

Este vestido es hermoso, lo compré hace un tiempo y se me había olvidado usarlo, asi que decidí agregarle un blazer y tacones y resultó muy profesional que me encanta. No me molesta a veces lucir un poco mayor, pero solo a veces.

I am very particular when it comes to shopping for blouses. As we all know, it can be difficult at times to find petite clothing for the office, this is why when it comes to office wear I enjoy shopping at Ann Taylor as they always have a great variety of office-chic blouses like this one. I love the fit  and the button detail on the collar.

I am very classic when it comes to my choices in clothing. Having the neutral tones in the blouse allows me to easily pair it with other pieces.

Soy muy particular cuando se trata de comprar blusas. Como todas sabemos  puede ser dificil encontrar la ropa perfecta para la oficina cuando se es bajita, por eso cuando debo comprar ropa para esta ocasión voy a Ann Taylor ya que, siempre tienen una variedad de blusas chic para la oficina, como esta. Me encanta los detalles de botón en el cuello.

Soy muy clásica cuando me visto, y tener tonos neutros en la blusa me hace más fácil mezclarla con otras piezas.

A quick post to show you a mix I really like and enjoy. Mixing red with leopard print makes you look sophisticated and daring, I love it. I added the sandals because the splits of the skirt allow to see the detail of them and I just love how they look.

When I go to school -which is everyday- all I can think about is comfort. I honestly spend more time at school than at home even some saturdays, so I like to be comfy and be able to walk and do things fast in case I need to. Some days I do like to wear heels and be overdressed, those are usually my "easy" days.

This is my "laid back, I am still hangover from my lazy weekend" look. I love this oversized top, although I have to admit taking the pictures with so much wind was a challenge. I added the pop of neon because, well my vans have been dusty for a looooong time, it was fair to give them another try.

Cuando voy a la uni -todos los días- solo puedo pensar en comodidad. Honestamente paso más tiempo ahí que en casa, incluso algunos sábados asi que, me gusta estar cómoda y poder caminar y moverme rápido en caso que lo necesite. Algunos días me gusta usar tacones y me visto muy formal, esos son usualmente mis días "fáciles".

Este es mi look "relajado pero aún tengo un poquito de flojera que me quedo del fin de semana". Me encanta este top aunque fue un desafío tomar fotos por el viento que hacía que se abombara jaja. Agregué el toque neón porque bueno mis vans han estado agarrando polvo por demasiado tiempo, era tiempo de darles otra oportunidad.

When I saw this skirt at H&M I knew that I wanted to purchase it as soon as I tried it on. As a matter of fact, I got it in black and ivory. I had been looking for a fitted/flared skirt for a long time, and this one happened to fit my petite figure. I love this skirt because it is very feminine and fun to wear to work.

Cuando vi esta falda en H&M quise comparla apenas me la probé. En realidad, compré esta y una en negro. He estado buscando por una falda a la medida con flare abajo por un tiempo, y esta resulto perfecta para mi figura de petite. Me encanta porque es muy femenina y divertida para el trabajo.
